Roadtrip Part 1. Since I had a few days off before my exams, my boyfriend and I jumped into the car for a little roadtrip adventure through France.

Our first stop was at a lovely country house from a friend nearby Saint-Flour in the Cantal, Auvergne. We were a bunch of 8-10 people and had so much fun. Having no internet was perfect for a little time out à la campagne. Getting up around noon, chatting only in French (which was so good to practice), barbecues four days in a row (can’t stand any BBQs any more at the moment), crazy tractor drivers and Surprise Hotel (listen here) all day (… and all night especially at 5am!!).

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to visit the cute Saint-Flour (well, we would have had if we had woken up earlier). Instead we went canoeing on Lac du Grandval, which was my first time ever. So exhausting!! Canoeing is definitely not my sport, unless it was on a river where you don’t need any physical force.

Wish you a wonderful day & come back for the second Roadtrip part!

  • Hey liebe Vicky,
