Winterwonderland in Laax

We started the morning with a Connoisseur Breakfast at Bistro Kaufmannfrauen consisting of Croissants with jam and butter or a homemade Birchermuesli. I can warmly recommend you the Birchermuesli. It snowed outside and we warmed up with a last cup of coffee before going out into the cold again. The Culinary Forest and Winter Trail starts in Flims and leads from there into the forest and through the snow.

We hiked through metres high snow to the Caumasee (Cauma Lake) being unfortunately completely covered by snow. This lake is one of the most beautiful ones of the region, which is why I have to return to is again. That’s how the lake looks like in the summer.

As by and by my hunger got stronger, so did my pace get faster. We dropped in for lunch at the CONN Restaurant, which is a real insider tip. As to culinary art it satisfies all tastes. Having made the Culinary Trail one dish is free. Thus, we could choose between Trinser Birnenravioli (Trins pear ravioli) or Conner Kartoffelravioli (Conn potato ravioli). The potato ravioli were delicious and all sweet foodies amongst us loved the Trins pear ravioli, which I can also warmly recommend you.
