Wow. I don’t even remember when I was the last time in Munich for longer than one day. I’m already here since Wednesday evening and will leave tomorrow. It was the perfect opportunity to have lots of lunch / dinner dates with friends. Moreover, my restaurant list in Munich is still long. Also, many of you were requesting tipps for Munich again. Here you go!
Sometimes it takes me longer to get into different food trends. In this case, the poke bowl trend. I’ve tasted my first one in Berlin some weeks ago. Together with my dear Olga we went to try the poke bowls at Aloha POKE at Maxvorstadt in Munich.

Aloha POKE
Aloha POKE is a deli which is super busy during lunch time. We got there at noon and after us the queue began to get longer. Ordering at Aloha POKE is super easy. You can mix your own poke bowl or you choose some of the “House-bowls”.The base of a poke bowl is either white or nature rice. I went for the nature rice, topped it with salmon, avocado, edamame, mango, chose the peanut-cilantro sauce and added some fresh chilis, dried algae and sesame.
- A small bowl costs 9,40 and a large one 12,40

RÉSUMÉ
I really liked the poke bowls at Aloha POKE. For now I can’t really say that it wasn’t bad nor something super special you should definitely try. No question that we had a great lunch. I only need some more poke bowls until I can make up my mind. I will update you as soon as I found the one!
