The good morning hour woke me up very early on this beautiful summer Saturday. Summer only rushes past me. After a very nice dinner with friends the other day, I had the feeling that I hadn’t really tasted the summer in Berlin yet. That, although I had actually done a lot. Maybe it’s the workload, the move two weeks ago. Who knows? Likewise, I was just really scared when I saw that I had gone into hiding here again for a few weeks. So… let’s break the silence!
WOCHENMARKT AM KARL-AUGUST-PLATZ
Wilmersdorf
In Berlin there is always a lot to do on Saturdays. I just love getting on my bike and going to another neighborhood. Said – done. Verena and I visited the Wochenmarkt at Karl-August-Platz in Wilmersdorf. A really incredibly great market. The products are super, the market people very friendly. And then we discovered the flower stands! A flower stand was completely grazed already at 11 o’clock. At the rose stand we were lucky and even got a bouquet as a present. 3 bouquets for 10€ – I call it a deal! For a little refreshment we ate a tasty white sausage and then we went on.

STRANDBAD HALENSEE
Grunewald
The afternoon ended in the Strandbad Halensee. Sun, lake – what more could you want? From the middle you need about 40 minutes by bike to get there. A bit of sport never hurts. I like the way there very much. Last summer I went to Charlottenburg or Wilmersdorf at least once on weekends.
Liebe Vicky,
Vicky
