Relaxed Sunday dinner at St. Bart Pub Berlin
Here comes my Foodfriday with a little delay. Amandine and I had such a lovely dinner at St. Bart Pub Berlin at Graefiez, which I could not share. Since I’ve moved temporarily to Amandine’s place we developed a little Sunday routine – going out for dinner quite early followed by a trashy French comedy. What else do you need on a lazy Sunday? We definitely have to keep up this tradition when we’re both in town.

ST. BART PUB
St. Bart Pub Berlin has just opened in August and has already become a popular spot in the neighborhood. Although we came quite early all of the tables were booked. It seems that the neighborhood loves the easy English pub atmosphere. Luckily, we got a spot at the bar. Sometimes I just love to sit at the bar and have a down-to-earth dinner while chatting with the bartender.

FOOD & DRINKS
As soon as you walk in you’ll find a big chalk board saying ‘Sunday Roast’ and one after the other the remaining birds or beef will be ticked off. This shows that they focus on fresh and high quality food. Therefore, the menu is kept simple, with comfort food dishes. We ordered half bird (16€), nut roast (Vegetarian – 9€), cheesy leeks (5€), sprouts & bacon (4€) and goose fat spuds (4€). We ordered a little bit too much for two people but it was all very good and interesting. I especially love the goose fat spuds as side dish. Amandine loved the cheesy leeks.
Note that the menu changes regularly so just check it out.
