Les Fables de La Fontaine. I always wanted go to Les Fables de la Fontaine.  I’ve heard so many good recommendations about it. Finally, after months, I managed to go there – I was not disappointed. The restaurant is specialized on fish prepared by the chefs David Bottreau and Sébastien Gravé, both apprenticed at Christian Constant’s (another new favorite of mine). We had a four course lunch menu for an incredible price of only  34€. (I can’t stop repeating myself, that you can eat in the best restaurants for less money if you go there at lunchtime. Of course, the prices rise in the evening). The service was impeccable. The location was really small, and I was once again impressed how the staff manages working on such a little space.  This has been my best lunch in Paris so far.

Bon Appetit!
