Wiesn-Special. I am feeling lots of anticipation for the Oktoberfest up here on the blog this year. Last week I got a surprising invitation for an Oktoberfest hair styling in collaboration with HaarWerk and Ingolstadt Village.

It is not all that long ago that I was shopping at Ingolstadt Village, where I’ve already spotted the gorgeous Sportalm Dirndln. Moreover, they have Dirndl from Wiesnkönig, which Irina wore in the looks below. The outlet prices where indeed great and I highly recommend looking for your future Dirndl there. I nearly took one with me! Therefore, I was more than happy to take part at thisstyling with HaarWerk.

The first look with the dirndl from Sportalm is my favorite. I absolutely love the bouclé-top. In fact, I thought that I already have all the dirndl-colors I wanted, but a beige / cream colored one is on my list too now.

Irina‘s Wiesnkönig dirndl matches too perfect with her hair and hairband – purple suits her very well!

Hair do nummer 3 & 4. Off to the next round with beautiful hair dos from HaarWerk. For both hairstyles the hair was curled and crewed out. I got a small braid turning around with some soft curls. Irina’s hairdo was a wonderful side bun with beautiful flowers in it.

Cantine Cantona. I’ve wanted to eat at Cantine Cantona for a while now, a newer restaurant in the heart of Maxvorstadt. Keep it local is their motto, i.e. all the ingredients are super fresh and local. Therefore, it is much more expensive than other restaurants (a friend of mine found it a little overpriced). But everyone told me that the food was delicious and I absolutely love the interior. Also, the terrace outside is perfect for summer nights.

I was more excited when I got the invitation ‘Mushrooms & Riesling’, a lovely wine wasting accompanied by delicious appetizers.
We had:

  • “Krause Glucke à la Crème“ with Butterfly Riesling, feinherb (2014) from Weingut Ziliken, Mosel
  • „Baked porcini“ with Buntsandstein Riesling (2008) from Frank John, Pfalz
  • „Schwammerltasche” with Prestige Riesling Sekt Brut (2008) from Sektland Raumland, Rheinhessen.

Enjoy!

Summer on hold. Right on time with the beginning of September summer was gone. No I am sure that it will return, only on hold! But I am still not willing to give up my summer clothes or even worse – wearing tights. Sorry for the little absence up here but I am currently working full time and after 6pm there’s little time to shoot. However, Conny and I quickly met up during my lunch break, which was also the perfect timing as it stopped raining. All in all, it took us 30 minutes to shoot our looks. That’s the good thing when you already know what the other likes.

As I said before, I don’t want to give up summerly Looks. Here I wore a black wool skirt from Romwe combined to my funky Pretty Loafers I got in their sample sale. People are still not used to colorful shoes. I noticed a few, including men, pointing out at my shoes. Are they that weird? Not really. I love to wear them to skinny jeans or even skirts like in this look. To spice up the whole look I wore my statement earrings from Happiness Boutique.

Wish you a wonderful day!
