where to eat in Florence
Eating in Florence. Before I flew I found a great guide on Girl in Florence‘s Blog (which I’ve linked you below) where to eat in Florence. Of course, I didn’t have the time to try them all out – I wished I could. Also, we stayed with our studio from university and being in a big group most of the time made it impossible to go to restaurants all together. In the end, we had pizza to go every night and ate on one of the squares – great too!
Nonetheless I got to try some nice spots for lunch which are above. Da Mario for a good bistecca fiorentina is a must but you have to count in long hours of waiting (40min-1hour around 1pm) if you don’t arrive early. Moreover, you absolutely have to go La Carraia for the most delicious gelato. Still dreaming of it!
Some friends of mine who have been living in Florence for 5 years now recommended the restaurants/pizzerias below. Let me know if you’ve tried one of the places and I am open for more recommendations!

Ich war erst vor zwei Monaten in Florenz und vermisse das Essen jetzt schon wieder! Traumhafte Fotos — sieht alles so unfassbar köstlich aus! Ich habe mich auch ein wenig an der Liste von Girl in Florence abgearbeitet und ich war echt begeistert, wie verlässlich ihre Tipps waren! Zwar reichen ein paar Tage in der Stadt nicht, um alles zu probieren, aber lebensverändernde Pasta war für mich auf jeden Fall dabei :)
