Here it is … The final result of my braces for adults treatment. It’s been nearly two months since I’ve gotten out the upper brackets, while the lower ones have finally been removed three weeks ago. Yaaay! I’ve looked through old pictures on the blog recently and you can definitely see the difference now! I’ve attached some before pictures taken by my orthodontist below!

Braces for adults FINAL RESULT

The last two months went without any complications nor pain. In my opinion, my teeth were already straight and beautiful a while ago. If it was for me, they were already ready after 8 months. I wished… In the end, it was also a matter of a correct bite. All in all, the year rushed by so quickly.

All I can say is that it was definitely one of my best investments! Hopefully, the last beauty treatment I’ll ever have to do. I’m absolutely against nipping and tucking. Well, surgeries in general! I can tell from my horrible third molar surgery before I’ve started this teeth treatment. In fact, I never ever want to have a surgery again!

FINAL COSTS

The whole treatment isn’t cheap at all but definitely worth it. I’m sure most of you have already done it in their teenage years. But for those, like me, who’ve missed it, you’ll definitely have to count in 5000€+. I’ve written more extensively about it in my Braces for Adults Part I (see above!). As for me, I paid 5000€ for my 1-year treatment. It’s definitely a lifetime-investment. If you count it down to 12 months, it makes around 400€ per month and on a 24.month loan around 200€.
